We know things can seem overwhelming at the moment. Taking care of our mental and physical wellbeing helps us to keep a sense of control when things feel the opposite! When we feel good, strong and healthy, we’re better able to cope with whatever is taking place around us.
The Team are ready and fully prepared to offer you support and reassurance when you visit us.
Some helpful tips:
Avoid excessive exposure to media coverage
Setting boundaries to how much news you read or watch will allow you to focus on your life and actions over which you have control rather than getting swamped.
Look after yourself
Try and eat healthy meals, get enough sleep, do things you enjoy at home and make time for self-care. These things will boost your immune system and keep your body functioning optimally and generally help you feel better.
Keep in touch
Talk on the phone to friends and family, even if you can’t see them face to face. Helping other people and reaching out to someone who may be feeling alone or concerned can benefit both the person, as well as yourself.
Try and focus on the good things in life. Be proactive in keeping those around you positive too.
Keep well and we look forward to welcoming you soon!
